Urgent rehome for family dog

We are in urgent need of rehoming our gorgeous family dog Chloe and this is our last resort.

Chloe is 8 years old but is still full of energy! Chloe is best described as the world’s fastest couch potato. Chloe loves to sleep all day on a comfy couch but loves to get out for an adventure (walk) ideally once a day and enjoys play time with her owner.

Chloe is best suited to a mature strong adult or a couple. Chloe does not do well with small animals or small children as she has a high prey drive.

Chloe loves stuffed animals and anything that has a squeaker in it! Chloe loves butt scratchies and is the most loving companion anyone could ask for. Chloe loves cuddles and will always greet you excitedly when you arrive back home. She forms very strong bonds to people that she knows well.

We are rehoming Chloe as we are relocating overseas and are unable to bring her. Chloe has also recently been introduced to an environment with a baby and cat and she does not do well. While there has never been an incident, Chloe cannot be placed into a home with small animals or children for everyone’s wellbeing and safety.

Chloe has d with a large male dog (Rottweiler) previously for several years and has done very well. She could potentially be slowly introduced to another large dog.

Chloe has been desexed, received all necessary vaccinations and goes to the vet for annual vaccinations (record included).
