We are looking for a loving and experienced home for our beautiful Blue-Fronted Amazon parrot, Timmy.

Timmy is approximately 4 years old and has been raised as a family pet. He is tame, used to human interaction, and enjoys being part of daily life. Like most Amazons, he has a confident personality and benefits from regular attention and stimulation.

About Timmy:

* Species: Blue-Fronted Amazon
* Age: ~4 years
* Temperament: Tame, handled regularly
* Talking/Whistling: Timmy loves to whistle and can say “good morning”, “goodnight”, “good bird”, and a few other phrases
* Tricks: Can turn around on command and “shake” your finger
* Diet: combination of fresh fruit/veg, seeds
* Health: well looked after

What’s included:

* Timmy’s current cage (where he sleeps), which he is comfortable and familiar with.

Reason for rehoming:
We are relocating to Tasmania, where restrictions unfortunately prevent us from bringing Timmy with us. This has been a very difficult decision, and finding the right home is our top priority.

Ideal home:

* Someone with experience with parrots (especially Amazons preferred)
* Able to provide a spacious cage/aviary and daily interaction
* Understanding of long-term commitment (parrots can for many decades)

Timmy will only go to a home where he will be well cared for and valued as part of the family. We are happy to answer questions and would like to ensure a good match.
