DNA sexed fallow pet lorikeet male

Please meet Rosie

We purchased Rosie 3 months ago as a sexed female to pair with our fallow male Romeo
They wouldnt bond and so I rechecked Rosies sex and well shes a he.

We have other non tame lorikeets but Rosie wants to be cuddled & interact with a friend whether human or bird.
Romeo is very territorial of me and gets very upset if he seems me with Rosie.

I want to do whats best for them both so deciding to find Rosie a new home.

Rosie came as a hand raised bird with clipped wings, the breeder (no idea why or how) managed to cut one wing incorrectly. Since we are waiting for them to regrow Rosie cannot fly and hence why we cant put him in our aviary.

Rosie is normally super snuggly and does make baby noises when hes being cuddled. We are a little moody atm due to breeding season / pin feathers so is hesitant to leave the cage but once out settles.
Rosie can be shy with new people since I dont normally have visitors but will settle down once he feels safe.
