Gorgeous Tuxedo former Mumma cat looking for her forever home!
Gorgeous Tuxedo former Mumma cat looking for her forever home!
Iam currently fostering a beautiful tuxedo girl named Momo, and we are hoping to find her the loving forever home she truly deserves.
Momo’s story is a little different from most. She was rescued by Maddison Doran (who is the primary for Momo) and came into my care when I went to pick up my intended foster kitten, a little 3-month-old boy named Bear. At the time, Bear’s sister was still missing (I now have her), so Momo came along while we continued searching for her.
Almost immediately, Momo took Bear under her wing. Despite not being related to him, she became his surrogate mum. She has watched over him, groomed him, comforted him and made sure he felt safe. To this day she still looks after him as though he were her own kitten.
Momo is approximately 2 years old, desexed, and has had a litter in the past. She has an incredibly gentle and nurturing nature. She loves chin scratches and pats. Bear still occasionally self-soothes by nursing on her, and Momo allows it because it comforts him. That is the kind of cat she is just warm and nurturing. I would also recommend momo for any kittens looking for a surrogate mumma to teach them the way. She is extremely affectionate, calm, and easy-going. She loves head scratches, chin rubs, food, treats, sunbaking, and watching the world from her window hammock. She is not very interested in toys and prefers a peaceful, quiet lifestyle but does like the occasional chew toy and exploring her surroundings at night.
Momo must be an indoor-only cat or have secure catio access.
Unfortunately, I can no longer care for three cats as I now have Bears sibling who I am also fostering. More importantly, Momo deserves stability and a forever home where she can simply relax and be loved.
She would thrive in a calm home with routine. While she is excellent with kittens and young cats, she does not require other animals to be happy.
I called her Momo because she really barely makes any noises or meows. She trills when she is looking around or at cat tv but is the quietest cat you’ll ever meet. However on the odd occasion she vocalises she softly says “MowMow” hence her name!
