In need of a happily ever after for this beautiful boy

I’m looking to rehome my beautiful 7-year-old cat, Toby.

I adopted Toby from Cat Haven when he was around one year old, and he’s been a loving, loyal companion ever since. This is a decision I never imagined having to make, and one I’ve put off for a long time.

Since having children—particularly my now 3-year-old, who has a medical condition requiring frequent trips to PCH, and my youngest—life has become incredibly overwhelming. With a FIFO partner, very little support, and no family nearby, I’m struggling to keep up with the emotional and physical demands of everyday life.

Toby has been so patient through it all, but I know he deserves more love, attention and a calmer environment than I’m able to give him right now. As heartbreaking as this is, I have to put what’s best for him first.

So, I’m putting the feelers out to see if there’s someone looking for a gentle, affectionate cat who deserves the very best. 💔

A little about Toby:
• 7 years old.
• Indoor-only (he is FIV positive).
• Desexed.
• Fully litter trained.
• Very chilled and affectionate—he loves head scratches, back rubs and evening cuddles on the couch.
• He has never bitten or scratched me or my children. He mostly keeps to himself and happily watches the world from a sunny window or naps on the couch (often sprawled out on his back!).
• He has d peacefully with our energetic Golden Retriever since she was a puppy. They’ll occasionally have a little snuggle or head nudge, but Toby generally enjoys doing his own thing.
• While he has d with children and another pet, I truly believe he’d thrive in a quieter home, ideally without young children or other animals, where he can enjoy the peaceful life he deserves.

I’ll provide his food, litter tray, litter, bowls and anything else he needs to help him settle into his new home.

Finding the right home is far more important to me than finding a quick home, so I won’t be rehoming Toby to just anyone. If you think you could give this beautiful boy the loving home he deserves, or you have any questions, please send me a message.
