Ava - Border Collie X King Charles Cavalier

Ava is a 5-year-old Border Collie × King Charles Cavalier who has been a deeply loved part of our family. She’s gentle, loyal and loves being close to her people. Ava is an inside dog who enjoys snuggling on the couch as much as she loves her daily walks and runs. She’s house-trained, not fussy with food, and has good recall off-lead with treats when in a big park area.

Sadly, due to a relationship breakdown, we have to rehome her — a heartbreaking decision as she means the world to us. Ava needs a calm, loving family home where someone is home most of the time, as she struggles with being left alone and can become anxious (but is not destructive at all). She’s best suited to a household without cats or other pets, though she may get along with another friendly dog after careful introductions.

Ava can occasionally be reactive to other dogs while on the lead, so she’ll need a confident and patient owner with experience handling medium-sized dogs. With the right routine and reassurance, she’s an incredibly affectionate, loyal companion who will give endless love in return.

We’re looking for a home in the Perth area with space for her to exercise and a family who can give her the time, care, and companionship she thrives on. Ava truly is a beautiful soul and deserves a family who will love her as much as we do.
