For active lifestyle, these pups are very active and a mix of 2 highly intelligent breeds that require a commitment to socialization and training.
Both parents are very confident dogs and good with children though Dad is sill learning to control his impulses and exuberance around people as he is still nearing the end of his adolescence, but maturing nicely. Great with my older grand children and loves their visits, but needs supervision around small children as he learns to curb his enthusiasm!
A Doberman of mostly Russian/European breeding, average size but robust build. He has been social and friendly with all who are the same to him. He learns quickly with very few repetitions, but does still need to work on distractions and duration. He enjoys learning and the bond created through training and is very affectionate.
Mum is a German Shepherd, traditional straight back type. She is a wonderful mother very well bonded to her owners and protective of the human baby in her family as well, following him closely. She is also average size for her breed, though the pups look likely to grow quite a bit bigger and to be more solidly built than either parent on average.
Both Mum and Dad are indoor/out door dogs, selected for versatility/utility as family companions for those who chose to include their dogs in activities or with an interest in further training in areas such as search and rescue, tracking or protection. Socialization for these dogs is must, and the pups have been exposed to indoors, people, chickens, car travel etc. They are given lots of room to move and explore, and provided with neural stimulation from birth to encourage resilliance and confidence. Regularly wormed with good nutrition.
