Meet Arlo - The Sweetest Shadow You'll Ever Have
Arlo is a 2½-year-old Staffy cross with a gentle heart and a deep love for his people. Once he bonds with you, that’s it — you’re his world. He’ll follow you from room to room, curl up beside you, and quietly keep you company.
He’s affectionate, sensitive, and happiest in calm, steady environments. Arlo enjoys quiet walks, car rides, and being near his humans. He’s not suited to busy dog parks or chaotic homes — he thrives on routine, gentle reassurance, and time to build trust.
Desexed / Vaccinated / Microchipped / Wormed
Yes, Arlo is desexed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and up to date with worming and flea treatments.
Health and Behaviour
Arlo is healthy overall but takes Gabapentin, Trazodone, and Fluoxetine to help manage anxiety. These medications keep him calm and comfortable, with ongoing support from his vet. He can become unsettled when left alone for long periods, so he’d suit someone who’s home often or can gradually build his confidence. Once secure, he’s loyal, affectionate, and easy to with.
Personality
Arlo is a loving, gentle dog who forms strong bonds. He’s playful and a bit goofy once comfortable but also calm and content to relax nearby. He’s well-mannered indoors and happiest when part of daily life.
Good with Dogs, Cats, and Children
Arlo is selective with other dogs and prefers calm, friendly companions with slow introductions. He’s not suited to homes with cats or small animals, but he’s been kind and patient with older children who respect his space.
