Nova - 1 Year old German Shepherd x Kelpie

This is Nova, my beautiful 1-year-old German Shepherd x Kelpie. Due to a recent relationship breakdown and changes in my circumstances, I can no longer give her the time and attention she truly deserves. This has been a very hard decision, but her wellbeing comes first.

Nova is a very loving, happy, and affectionate girl who absolutely adores being around her people. She has the sweetest nature and such expressive eyes. She loves attention and will happily soak up all the pats and cuddles you give her.

She has grown up with another dog. However, recently she has shown what appears to be some dominance issues around food, so she would be best suited to a home that understands how to manage feeding separately and provide structure. Nova does not get along with cats, so a cat-free home is essential.

She can jump up when she gets excited (she just gets very happy to see you!), so she’ll need someone willing to continue her training and provide consistency. She’s smart, eager to please, and with the right guidance will be an incredibly loyal companion.
